Here is the price, without a starting-price guessing game
My New Bern wedding photography collection is $995 for six hours. It includes 500–600 edited photographs delivered within one week, with no travel fee for New Bern. That gives you a concrete number to put beside your venue, food, and other plans.
This is my collection price, not a claim about the average cost of every photographer in New Bern. Different photographers build different services. Compare the written coverage and the work you will receive instead of comparing a bare number taken from a search result.
Six hours needs a sensible schedule
Six hours can include final preparations, the ceremony, family pictures, couple portraits, and the beginning of the reception. It depends on the order and locations. A late exit after a long reception will not fit automatically because the wedding itself has a small guest count.
Before booking, write down the ceremony time and the moments you most want photographed. Add travel between locations and a little breathing room. The six-hour timeline guide gives you a starting point. If it does not fit, discuss that before the contract rather than hoping the day will move faster.
The payment schedule
Booking requires a contract and 50% down: $497.50. The remaining $497.50 is due 30 days before the wedding. Keep those dates on your budget calendar so the photography payment does not arrive as a surprise beside other final balances.
Read the contract for the terms that apply to your booking, including any changes to the date or plans. If you are booking close to the wedding, ask how the payment schedule will work before signing. The written agreement should answer the questions you would otherwise be carrying around.
Compare photographs as well as packages
Look beyond a few portraits in good light. Pay attention to family groups, ceremonies, indoor receptions, and photographs of guests. Ask to see work that helps you judge how a full day is covered. A large image count is not a substitute for pictures you actually want to keep.
Notice whether people look comfortable and whether you can understand what was happening. Think about how much direction you want and how much time you want to spend taking portraits. Those preferences matter as much as matching a visual style.
What to send when you inquire
Send your date, venue or location, and a short description of the day. If the date or venue is undecided, say so. Add the ceremony time if it is known and mention any separate preparation or reception location.
You do not need a finished planning document to ask a useful question. You need enough information to check availability and whether the coverage fits. Check your date here, or look at the photographs first if you are still deciding whether the work feels right.
